Garbiel graduated with Second Class (Upper) Honours from the Singapore University of Social Sciences’ Juris Doctor programme. He also holds a degree in Psychology from the National University of Singapore.

Prior to his legal career, Gabriel spent 15 years as a Probation Officer and later as an Assistant Director in the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). He therefore brings to his practice a unique blend of legal expertise and a keen understanding of Singapore’s Probation and rehabilitation regimes, youth justice, and the family law landscape.

His main areas of practice include Commercial and Civil Dispute Resolution, Corporate Advisory, Criminal, and Family Law. Gabriel has assisted local and international clients in commercial and civil matters including the sale and purchase of business, payment claims under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOPA), and contractual disputes.

He is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
